Treasure Island
This is a card I was asked to make for someone who is mad about sailing ships it is the Hispaniola that featured in the film of Treasure Island, I was given the photo to scan and the map which I also scanned and re-coloured in brown and then printed it out on cream paper ,I probably would have done the ship in that colour too if it was my choice but was asked to leave it the original colour.
I used a Fiskars Rope border punch on the map and the card has an insert with a verse printed in the same shade of blue as the card and also cut with the border punch.
I am pleased to say that the person who ordered it is delighted with it.
