Sapphire Anniversary

can,t believe it has been 45 years since my best friends Margaret and David got married this is their card the glittery papers are from Deecraft's iris folding strips I can,t remember where I got the background card from as I have had it so long. the numbers 45 and greeting are coloured peeloffs.

Boating


First card made this year , for a 4 year old boy,I couldn,t think of anything at first ,then I remembered I had some of this paper left over,so I cut a similar boat shape for the iris folding.

Xmas

This is one of my regular Christmas designs that I make every year,
I used a large holly punch on the cream card,cut off the corners with Victorian corner scissors and scraps of green papers ,red peel off bow and greeting

Wings

this is one of the latest designs from Deecraft, and is my all time favourite at the moment.
I used glitter paper strips also from Deecraft and coloured 2 peel off corners and a greeting to match.

Champagne Bottle

I was asked to make a card for someone who  works a lot with Fairtrade and is moving on to a new position,  I cut a bottle shape from black card folded to DL size,and used the 4 colours of the Fairtrade logo in an Iris fold square for the label ,the little tag is done with Quick kutz

Ovals

A  card for letter O in the Alphabet Challenge
I cut a 4 leaf clover shape and used a mixture of green  papers, 2 of which were  from envelopes, and the oval is  actually the reverse of one from an old card so I don,t know how the edge was punched

Z or Zebra


I have used a piece of Zebra patterned paper and Zebra image from some jungle papers and made the iris folded square from pearlised black & white papers in a white frame,mounted onto a white DL card

Y for Yellow


I used flower stickers with yellow flock,green borders for the stems and jewels in the flower centres , some yellow patterned papers for the vase,then mounted onto a yellow rose patterned card

Crafts U Print Competition


this is my entry made with the free download from Crafts U Print
I tried to choose something that I could adapt and make a unique card with rather than just printing and sticking,the one I used was called Christmas Ribbons and I cut the paper up into strips for the baubles and trimmed the greeting strip with Fiskars victorian scissors
