Christmas 2010

I,m a bit late with the cards this year,this is the first of the new ones
cut from a template and corner X -cut holly punch

Xmas

This is one of my regular Christmas designs that I make every year,
I used a large holly punch on the cream card,cut off the corners with Victorian corner scissors and scraps of green papers ,red peel off bow and greeting

Punches

P is Punches over on the Alphabet Challenge,
this is a very simple and easy card done  by punching hearts from left over scraps of background paper,with tiny peel off stars in between, stuck onto  card triangles and the pot was cut from a scrap of red card

Icy Colours

A quick Christmas card for the icy colours challenge

the paper is by Dovecraft with a silver snowflake border, the bauble is cut from a circle punch embossed with Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder and a silver ribbon bow and peel off greeting,

the other border is sticky ribbon on the inside edge of the card

X-- Xmas

X is for Xmas
I used a die cut card from Deecraft and some glitter paper strips

Santa

The latest Anything Goes Challenge on Craft Swap Forum is "Santa"
I used some Santa's face background paper,burgundy card and a printed image on gold card

H with Houses

letter H this week and something quite rare for me as I have used a rubber stamp !
I can,t remember what it is called because it was a gift and has been in the drawer for ages,I used a Whispers pen to match the colour to the green card and an X- Cut corner on the edges

Christmas Trees

I have now finished my last 4 Christmas cards (I hope)
tree cut from template with assorted papers and corners cut with Xcut punches

Candle made with another card blank and glitter iris folding strips from Deecraft

Some More Baubles

I have used bought card blanks from Deecraft and also Dee's various Iris folding strips ,it was a lot quicker than cutting my own like I normally do as I needed to make 8.

Crafts U Print Competition

this is my entry made with the free download from Crafts U Print
I tried to choose something that I could adapt and make a unique card with rather than just printing and sticking,the one I used was called Christmas Ribbons and I cut the paper up into strips for the baubles and trimmed the greeting strip with Fiskars victorian scissors

X for X-cut

letter X already it has gone quickly.
I have used an X-cut snowflake corner punch on the grey card and a big circle punch for the bauble, the paper is the Ultra Glitter from Deecraft,mounted onto a navy blue card and finished with silver ribbon.

Silver and White Baubles

2 of my luxury Iris Fold Christmas cards , I used some precut iris folding strips from Deecraft and cut my own apertures in pewter card ,the corners are done with Xcut punches mounted onto silver & white patterned snowflake card ,

Lace Tree on Acetate

I have used the Cuttlebug Lace Tree folder on some acetate and coloured the back with Whispers a pen , attached to the dark green card with 4 tiny red brads , added a star brad at the top and some sticky ribbon down the side to hide the join
