Lace Tree on Acetate



I have used the Cuttlebug Lace Tree folder on some acetate and coloured the back with Whispers a pen , attached to the dark green card with 4 tiny red brads , added a star brad at the top and some sticky ribbon down the side to hide the join

V for Vase


I used a template to cut the vase from the middle of a 3 fold DL card ,wire for the stems and assorted paper flowers with brads and gems in the cetres.

At The Third Stroke ---


we saw this on the news last week so went at the weekend to have a look ,it is on the A51 near Nantwich and is 1/4 size of the real thing with a working clock that is lit up at night,all made from bales of straw.

U for Umbrella


I have used a mixture of coloured paper with a peel off border round the edges and for the handle,the greeting was printed and matted onto some card to match and cut with Fiskars Victorian scissors , and the white corners are cut with an Xcut punch , the flowers and butterflies are rub ons

Circle of Friends Award



I must first of all say a big thank you to Zoe for giving me this award ,I am honoured to be thought of .
I have to say five things about myself now

1.I have just got my bus pass but still think I am 19.
2.I have to have chocolate every day.
3.I have always been mad about folly towers and am a member of The Folly Fellowship.
4.I used to be a Sunday School teacher.
5.My favourite drink is Champagne .

Song Titles ATC


The August ATC Challenge on Craft Swap Forum is "Song Titles"
I have done "Blue Moon" as a circle was quick to punch out of the card.
I used some blue papers from the insides of envelopes,the sky line is cut from a magazine ,the stars and music are rub ons

T for Tartan


I was asked to make a retirement card for a golfer so I decided to do a golf bag with tartan papers as that also fits the Alphabet Challenge this week,
the beige card is DCWV textured card cut with Fiskars corner scissors mounted onto burgundy hammered card

Sunset Safari Silhouettes


I have managed a triple S this week for the Alphabet Challenge
it is strips of glitter Iris Folding papers to represent a Sunset with Silhouettes of Safari animals and a palm tree
