ZIGZAGS

we have come to the end of the alphabet again
This is a fatbook page with pistachio green Bazzil card,Zigzag background paper  ,  an olive green  Nestabilities label shape, London Eye image from Crafty Individuals, rub on border and ribbon bow.

Yellow

Y is for Yellow
I used a yellow flower image from a  book of springtime  papers by Nel Whatmore , then I stamped
a tiny flower  from Crafty Individuals (the reverse side has a larger version of the stamped image in orange ) and Anchor threads in yellows , oranges & greens

Xmas

This is one of my regular Christmas designs that I make every year,
I used a large holly punch on the cream card,cut off the corners with Victorian corner scissors and scraps of green papers ,red peel off bow and greeting

Wings

this is one of the latest designs from Deecraft, and is my all time favourite at the moment.
I used glitter paper strips also from Deecraft and coloured 2 peel off corners and a greeting to match.

Vintage

I used a Kanban image and cut a Nestabilities Label from sepia patterned card ,the map and greeting  are also Kanban , with a stone colour textured card

U for Unused stash

I had half a sheet left of this golfer decoupage and nearly a full pad of the papers so I think this will qualify for the unused theme on the Alphabet Challenge , I don,t do decoupage very often but I bought this one for a golfing friend  originally, I hope he doesn,t remember it as he will probably get this card next year.

Champagne Bottle

I was asked to make a card for someone who  works a lot with Fairtrade and is moving on to a new position,  I cut a bottle shape from black card folded to DL size,and used the 4 colours of the Fairtrade logo in an Iris fold square for the label ,the little tag is done with Quick kutz

Trees

T for Trees


is something I have made for a fat book swap ,we are doing the 4 seasons and have now just started the Autumn ones,I used a scene from an old wall paper book ,the picture continues on the back of the page,then I added some vellum over the top cut with a Fiskars scallop punch( I nearly used this last week for S)
I made a little window frame and covered it with some hessian print paper ,put a scrap of bronze card behind that was embossed with Cuttlebug Divine Swirls and popped a leaf on the top.

Scallops

Alphabet Challenge is S for Scallops this week
I printed the planes and greeting onto the card,then added some silver glitter glue to highlight the main image , the scallop borders were cut from DCWV adhesive card with a Fiskars punch

Punches


P is Punches over on the Alphabet Challenge,
this is a very simple and easy card done  by punching hearts from left over scraps of background paper,with tiny peel off stars in between, stuck onto  card triangles and the pot was cut from a scrap of red card

Ovals

A  card for letter O in the Alphabet Challenge
I cut a 4 leaf clover shape and used a mixture of green  papers, 2 of which were  from envelopes, and the oval is  actually the reverse of one from an old card so I don,t know how the edge was punched

Men

M for Men this week,
I made this dinner jacket for a 21st. card,it is an A5 size card with the centre front cut and folded over to make the revers covered with gold embroidered paper,then behind that a piece of striped paper for the shirt,
3 pink brads for the buttons and a ribbon bow tie,there is a patch pocket cut from another piece of black card with spotted paper folded for the handkerchief,and a peel off no.21

Lace

Letter L is Lace
I used glittered white and silver papers cut with an X-cut punch,
printed the  greeting and then punched the heart shape,
the glasses are glitter card diecuts ,and some silver satin ribbon

this is a spring Fat Book page I made for a swap,the background is K&co paper,I stuck  2 lines of DST and covered it in Flock, added 3 sticky rubon flowers and also covered them in Flock,and finished with 3 fabric flowers and stick on Jewels
